Hunslet Hawks are delighted to announce the capture of Leeds Rhinos players Jimmy Keinhorst, Liam Hood, Jimmy Watson and Josh Sunley on dual registration for the 2013 Championship season.
The four players have arrived as part of a new partnership between the two clubs which will see a number of exciting initiatives throughout 2013.
Head coach Barry Eaton was quick to welcome the new additions to the squad "I am delighted to be welcoming Jimmy Keinhorst, Liam Hood, Jimmy Watson and Josh Sunley on dual registration from Leeds Rhinos. Jimmy Keinhorst burst on the scene last season and earned himself a Challenge cup final place in the Leeds team and his qualities will benefit us greatly when he is available. Liam Hood has lots of Super League experience and had a spell at Dewsbury last year and was probably the difference between ourselves and Dewsbury with a try scoring man of the match performance. Jimmy Watson has been promoted to the 1st team squad at Leeds and played in the Boxing Day game v Wakefield and is highly thought of by the Leeds club, as is Josh Sunley who by indications has really impressed during pre-season and we are really delighted that these players will enhance our squad."
Barry went on to say "As with any player everyone must be performing to their maximum ability to be selected but the quality from the dual registrations is undoubted and I am looking forward to welcoming them. All the players will no doubt be out to impress this weekend as Leeds look to be putting out a very strong team with some quality recognised first team players taking part which promises to be a great game."
